I am Lisa, a software engineer by day, a photographer by night. I was based in San Francisco Bay Area, now in New York City.​

 

I strongly believe that photography transcends the format upon which it is captured, and for now I specialize in film format (35mm for stills, super8 for video) because I find it fun to experiment. With the advent of AI, I find it even more important/pressing to express myself in my own words, through my own eyes, in the form of physical media. Something about the real world and the real people living in it fascinates me, and I believe the very human emotions cannot be replicated by machines.
